Community Self-Defense Workshops
Ages 12+ Session D: Saturday, May 3rd | 10:00 am - 11:00 am $25 per month session Live boldly, be fierce. Learn the basics of self-defense hands-on in this community-based self-defense class. Develop skills in prevention, assertiveness, situational awareness, and reactionary time. Explore body language, verbal/physical, spatial skills, and more. A certified martial arts instructor teaches this class and is open to all body types and skill levels. Children ages 12 years old and above are welcome when accompanied by a caregiver. Required Equipment This class requires all participants to wear comfortable athletic clothing you can move around in, and to bring a personal water bottle. Revenge of the 5th Kumdo Night
Ages 18+ Monday, May 5 | 8:00-9:00 pm $10 per person In a dojang not so far away… for one night only… Join us for Revenge of the 5th Kumdo Night, a special one-time class where you can wield a lightsaber and learn real sword techniques! Whether you're Jedi, Sith, or somewhere in between, this is your chance to train like a saber master. Bring your own lightsaber or use a bamboo sword. We’ll cover Kumdo techniques, sparring drills, and finish with a lightsaber-inspired demo! This is your only chance to be part of the battle. May the Fifth be with you! |
Private Group Self-Defense Workshops

Learn the basics of self-defense with a hands-on approach. Develop skills in prevention, assertiveness, situational awareness, and reactionary time. Explore body language, verbal/physical spatial skills and so much more.

Scheduling is based on instructor and facility availability. You may now choose from the following options to meet your workshop needs.
Contract & Payment
All workshops are contracted through Full Circle Martial Arts Academy, LLC. A courtesy contract and electronic estimate will be provided upon request. Contracts are not considered final and in effect until a signed copy and full payment has been received. We understand that stuff happens and plans change, however, to continue to offer excellence in our programming we require advanced payment one week prior to the scheduled self-defense workshop date(s).

Reschedule & Cancellation Requests
Requests to reschedule or cancel a workshop less than one week from the start date will be charged a $25 processing fee.
If we reschedule/cancel a class you will not be charged a processing fee and we will do our best to schedule a make-up class(es).

Pricing
- 1-hour Workshop: $25 per participant - Minimum 5, Maximum 10
- 3 Week Course: $75 per participant - Minimum 5, Maximum 10
- 6 Week Course: $150 per participant - Minimum 5, Maximum 10
- Travel Workshops - Standard Federal mileage rate $0.535. Travel Stipend is applied for all locations 15 miles outside of Rapid City city limits.
