Learning Full Circle Youth Prevention Program
$50 per participant
Learning Full Circle is a martial arts inspired youth prevention program. Full Circle works with local non-profits, mental health, behavioral health, and law enforcement agencies to identify and support at-risk youth. Our goal is to harness the power of martial arts training, mentorship, and community to:
The Learning Full Circle program is offered every month to both Middle School and High School students.
Training
Learning Full Circle combines traditional martial arts philosophies and training with evidence-based curriculum to address students' mental and emotional needs while providing a healthy physical outlet.
Our program is offered monthly and consists of four weekly training sessions, prevention education, and a family session.
Weekly Training Sessions: Fridays | 4:30-6:00 pm (student must attend all four weekly sessions)
Family Session: Last Saturday of the month | 10:00-11:30 am (student and trusted adult must attend the family session)
Our prevention education curriculum is incorporated into and reinforced by our weekly training sessions. Students will learn and build confidence with the following concepts:
Referrals
We believe that healing our community starts by building strong relationships. Full Circle works directly with local agencies to identify student referrals. All participating students must be referred through a local mental health, behavioral health, or law enforcement agency.
Students referred to the program are required to contact our office to schedule an assessment prior to program enrollment.
The Learning Full Circle program is offered year-round and referrals are accepted at anytime. Program placements are scheduled based on enrollment availability. If spaces are unavailable in the requested program, interested participants can be placed on a the waitlist or moved to the following month. Participants must be middle school or high school age students (ages 10-17).
